Clacton wind farm by edpartridge

Clacton wind farm

Assisted on the MissBLP's school trip to Clacton today. My main task as the only bloke on the trip was to shepherd 12 boys into the toilets and 12 boys (Preferably the ones I started with) back out again.

Time was spent on the beach looking for shells and stones to show the man with an unhealthy interest in shells and stones. I took this whilst he was boring the kids silly about stones native to Clacton.

MissBLP's photo of today can be found at: http://365project.org/missblp/365/2010-06-22

Still .. Nice sunny day and it beat sitting in the office.
I love wind farms, there is often opposition to them and I don't really get why - I think they're really graceful and beautiful.

This made me smile....a day out at Clacton with kids, stones and toilets....yay! But I love the photo, the groyne, the sparkly sea and the turbines...Clacton's ok!

Nice to know you had a "use" on the trip! That's an impressive wind farm... love the picture. Presume "Steve-from-Work" was doing twice as much today so you could go gallivanting.
