Taken just after we arrived at Pixley Wildlife Refuge last Friday evening. The sunset was spectacular, filtering through the fog. Then came the Sandhill Cranes, thousands of them. Amazing to hear and see. It was a fun adventure. I wish we going back tomorrow! They'll be draining the fields soon and the birds will continue on their migration. Happy for them but wish I could see more with out having to wait until next year.
