I don't know how I spotted this little guy... he was in the thick of reeds and leaves in the shade! I was hot and anxious to power through but every where I looked, there was a little treat from a wayward little š¢ turtle on the path to elusive songbirds... this guy, just hanging out in the shade... very much like I wanted to be!
