The Snowy Plover, a bird the state is working hard to bring the numbers back up, with success. These were all over Pebble Beach/Spanish Bay, Carmel. So cute and crazy quick! Now that I look at the picks though, I’m totally unsure. Signage indicated Snowy Plover but I am not sure.

That is a great picture. And I know they are around. My friend took an Audobon tour of the beach in Santa Monica where they were busy laying and tending their eggs. Love the detail you captured.
