Taken at Guadalupe Dunes Preserve ~ Rarely visit here ~ it's so close, we just forget it's here I guess. I'll post more from here ~ I have never seen so many birds together ~ Especially pelicans! Have a wonderful night and or week!
I was excited about finding these two - they were in a huge group of pelicans - signage said they were California Least Terns but turns out not - I thought one was a Royal Tern and turns out that that was correct and the other is a Caspian Tern! Weirdly - it's an area protected for the California Least Terns and appararently - neither of these are them!

@koalagardens It was amazing there - I'm going to have to sort through the pics. A local beach with generally not a whole lot going on - this was a surprise! And we could have driven over again today, and no one would be there. LOL
