I had originally stopped to take a picture for the "National Pride" theme. For me, this is not only about the flags, but about the sentiment. I am energised by this celebration of participation. Yes - winning is lovely, but those celebrations can be like a sugar-rush. They leave you feeling very flat when the inevitable loss does occur.
