Tourists loom large

The African Penguin is quite a small bird, even if there are many at this breeding site. The shadows of the tourists on the boardwalk made an apt metaphor

Love this! FYI: I will fave anything with a penguin in it! We saw these guys years ago and were able to get very close. In fact, a penguin was tapping on the large lens of a photographer getting down to its level next to.me. I need to come back!

The shadows on the sand add an extra layer of interest to the penguin beach! I was ther two years ago and found it fascinating!
