Today's lesson was different from what I expected when I looked at ways to frame the clouds and the trees.
What you can't see, because it was not part of my picture, was a large group of childminders and their charges, playing on the field. One of the minders took offence to my taking photos and bustled over to find out what pictures I had of her charges.
I think she was genuinely bemused when I showed her my images, and explained about clouds and skylines. She left with a look on her face that said she was sure I wasn't telling her the whole truth.
Sigh. I understand why she's concerned about the children. I hate that we live in a world where that is a thing. I also admire that she approached me. But sigh. It's sad.
