Herring boat shed by ellida

Herring boat shed

On Holy Island (also called Lindisfarne), this view looks towards the castle, now without the scaffolding that has adorned it for many months.
What a great place to be exploring with your camera.

Took a shot of this exact boat myself last year. Unfortunately the castle still had the scaffolding. Very much like your shot Graham On to Bamburgh Castle!

That boat shed is so photogenic & I so like the way that cathedral stands out in the background..

Oh how lovely! I have friends who live on the island, but have never been there, nice to see it. The herring shed reminds me of an upside down boat hull......I wonder if it is a repurposed boat? Super shot

Great shot of this old shed and textures, not much holding it together anymore ;-)

This boat shed is a great foreground for the background castle.

What a great way to use an old boat. It looks like a wonderful area to explore.
