Inspired by @novab lovely work with cutlery. The music score used for the shot is the Maltese National Anthem. In 1922, Robert Samut composed a short melody. A.V. Laferla, Director of Primary Schools in Malta, obtained possession of this composition, as he wanted to have an anthem which could be sung by students in Malta's schools. Laferla asked Dun Karm Psaila to write lyrics that would fit with Samut's short and dignified melody. The first time it was heard in public was on 27 December 1922 and declared as the National anthem in 1941.
On 25 March 1945, a football match was held between Malta and Hajduk Split. Before the game, the band played the anthem of Yugoslavia, and God save the King. As the governor who was present for the game was about to sit, the attendees in the stadium stood up and sung the Maltese Anthem. The British governor stood up as well until the end of the anthem.
