Web in green

This photo was taken yesterday as I knew I would be too busy today to venture out for a few shots. This was taken at San Anton Gardens. This image was rendered in 25% watercolour using the online editor mentioned in previous shots. I tried to move around to eliminate the white area at the bottom of the vee but this was the best position to highlight the web. I do not know how I could have achieved a darker background. Any suggestions?
Interesting shot!

I like this! I suppose you could try to lower the brightness of that spot with Snapseed, but I like this as is.

If you have a way to select a certain portion of your picture in your post processing program you could try lowering the exposure to darken it, or you might try applying a filter or texture over the shot, and then erase it from the parts you don't want it on but leave it on the white spot. You also have the option of cloning- that is transferring color from another section of the photo on to the white spot. I think some programs call it "healing" or "erasing" as well. It really depends on how you want it to look in the end as to how you will work on that spot.
