Our-lady-of-sorrows

Taken yesterday were I had an opportunity to practice some night time photography and the available lights. I spent these last couple of days preparing for Easter. I took a couple of photos just to keep the track of taking at least one photo a day but I was not pleased with today's result. I learnt a couple of things though about my camera namely the purpose of a number of buttons at the back and how to shoot with a certain amount of definition and focus in low light.
This photo was taken in San Gwann. The local council wanted to ensure that the people of the locality enjoy this Easter in a way that doesn’t break COVID-19 regulations. So they came up with a neon Via Sagra display showing key moments from Jesus' passion. This is the one I liked best. There were mixed reactions by the public to this kind of display. All I can say is that it is a different kind of art and it offered me some practice.
Great lighting
