My granddaughter and I went out to Kennedy Grove today. Being quite sunny and on the hot side, I was not looking forward for a mid-morning walk before online lessons but who can say no to a six year old who came prepared with her sun hat, sun glasses and, "Where are we going today, Nannu?!" By the way this week was characterised by the recognition of Roman numerals which was sparked off by the strange numbers of the kitchen clock. She now knows that she is VI years old and that she loves me C. She also told her teacher today all the letters that she knows and how to make 20 and 13. I'll put a picture of her from today's walk in the second album. In the meantime as a kayak enthusiast I could not resist this guy on his way to do some fishing, I guess. I caught the large ship which was surprisingly moving very fast on the horizon. I was also intrigued by the misty look it had. I do not know how that was brought about.
Great contrast! I think the haziness could be due to the heat. The state that I grew up in was known for it's weather in the summer- hot, hazy and humid.
