Excuse me for intruding but I was looking at the wooden balcony. One of many traditional wooden balconies in the village core of one of the oldest towns in Malta, Zejtun. The balcony will hopefully be restored and not replaced by something modern and foreign looking. Unfortunately our villages and towns are losing their traditional identity in the name of progress.
Strolled through the old quarter of this town. There is so much we can lose if we are not careful and strike a balance between what we have and what we think is better.
