Diver's end by elza

Diver's end

There were no divers at this spot late in the evening. There was only a slight swell and I used a long exposure to get a misty feel where the waves were crashing on the rocks. I'm not sure if I cropped too much from the top to eliminate a steel bar which is still slightly visible and in the process truncated the rock at top left. I liked how the hand rail slopes into the picture.
I think the bar just adds to the leading lines in this photo. Looks quite hazardous for divers with the rocks.

Creates a very other-wordly feel. Great shot.

One would definitely expect to find Poseidon at the bottom of these "stairs". You created a very interesting look to the surface of the water.

@onewing @ljmanning @casablanca @busylady @catcarter19 @theredcamera @amyk @bkbinthecity @edorreandresen @yaorenliu @sangwann Thank you all for a very unexpected response to this photo. I've been trying to find the opportunity to try out a ND filter so I took off to Cirkewwa as I thought that the wind would be churning the sea on that side of the island (Dione : it's on the left side of the Gozo ferry terminal). It's a very popular place with divers and you need a diver's certificate to park in the area during specific hours.
