I thirst by elza

I thirst

Today's only photos were taken late in the evening with my mobile phone which did not produce what I was expecting so I decided to upload "I thirst" from a couple of days ago taken in the town of Haz Zabbar.
I focused my attention on a tiny section from a World War II monument commemorating the townsfolk who lost their lives during the war. A dangling hand reaching for the water reminded me of Mother Theresa's letter "I thirst" echoing our Lord's words on the cross. It reminded me of so many people who thirst for justice, for peace and for love.
Love your composition - the drops from the fingers are a great detail
