While we do not have any wilderness in Malta, this man found one of the remotest areas for some quiet fishing time. It is quite a trip from the main road down to this spot over the rough and jagged upper coralline limestone. Spotted him while going round the tip of Mellieha on 15th September. I like the vivid colour of the umbrella with its straight lines in contrast to the irregular, jaggy rocks.
@summerfield Thanks for the comment. I think he was too absorbed watching his fishing float and I did not wave ;) as I was bobbing precariously on my kayak. Will be following some worthy advice from a fellow 365er @borof.
@onewing thanks for the comment. He had to be prepared as apart from the sun, sitting on those rocks is a real pain so there must be a cushion there for sure.
