Independence day. My super son and his lovely fiancée invited me to join them on a kayak trip. We went down at Għar Lapsi and kayaked to Wied iż-Żurrieq (and back about 6km). I have never kayaked this side of the island. We were looking for a particular cave (l-Għar ta' Lawdu) but we missed the entrance. On our way back we stopped for a swim at this tiny beach (Denb il-Bagħla - lit. a mule's tail). Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.
