16th February 2014

Oh wow! It was sunny and warm all day today. We finally managed to get out and have a decent walk (about 7-miles or so) today without getting wet or blown around.

This is Hampton Court gardens near the Lion Gate entrance and despite the severe gales and floods here the snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are all coming out together. They are so bright and colourful, it is beautiful to see after so much greyness. If you look closely you can spot Colin who is patiently waiting for me sat on a bench on the right!

Best viewed large to cheer you up!! (p.o.f. on the flowers in the foreground)
Nice landscape and, yes, you had a beautiful day from the look of the skies.

This gorgeous spring scene does me good to look at, Emma, fav for me. Hope the fact that you were both able to take a long walk means that Colin's back is doing well.

Great sight with all the wildflowers and colour after so much bad weather! Good for Colin - my hubby waits in the car and plays on his iPhone!
