15th July 2014

Today I went to White Lodge in Richmond Park to photograph a sketching day for ‘artsrichmond’. The Lodge is the home of the Royal School of Ballet and is a beautiful Georgian building. I was there to record the work of 15 artists who were visiting for the day to draw, paint and sketch the outside grounds of the Lodge along with the interior.

The Lodge is normally closed to the public but I was luck enough to have also visited last year - here’s my 365 of the Margot Fonteyn sculpture from last year - http://365project.org/emmadurnford/365/2013-07-16. Like last year the weather was sunny and dry and very hot.

Here’s a few images from the day - https://www.flickr.com/photos/emmadurnford/sets/72157645317065350/
A beautiful building and a great opportunity to see and photograph a place most people don't get to see.
