2nd August 2015

This year it is the third Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic cycle race. The professional cyclists pass across Kingston bridge on their outbound journey on the 125 mile race. I managed to secure my usual place in the middle of the bridge on the traffic island. I had a 45 minute wait until the cyclists and the main pelaton rode by in less than a minute. It was well worth the wait.

Here’s a Flickr album of the day if you have time to look - https://www.flickr.com/photos/emmadurnford/albums/72157654376887123
Wonderful pov, dof and colour, fav! Just got your postcard from Portugal the other day-- thank-you! The photograph on it is stunning, all those vineyard lines. Glad you survived the heat.
