Colin’s back is really bad again and we are worried about our long trip in a couple of weeks. I thought it might help to have a short walk down to the Lock and we are glad we went as unexpectedly two of the Dunkirk ‘Little Ships’ were in the lock after having attended a veterans event upstream earlier in the day. This is the ‘Gentle Ladye’ which I have not seen before. A lovely sight and they were gleaming in the afternoon sun.
A beautiful photograph, and a great thrill to see one of the brave "little ships" who helped to rescue the Expeditionary Force men. So sorry about Colin's back, back pain is dreadful.
