Today it was the Great River Race in which over 330 boats travel from the Docklands over 21 miles to finish at Ham. I was waiting for the bots on Richmond bridge and they arrived only 5 minutes after their expected arrival time at 13.45. It was brilliant to see the boats approaching from downstream, all of which have to be rowed and carry one passenger.

Next year the race will take part on the 3rd of September so mark your diaries! Here’s some other images from the day...
