7th April 2016

After a long journey yesterday it was great to be out in the fresh air although it was a pretty bitter wind. This is Kenidjack Valley and the old tin mine and arsenic factory! Luckily the arsenic factory closed many years ago. Now the field is home to two lovely donkeys who have grass and flowers to eat, fresh water from the Tregeseal river and a large stone stable full of fresh straw to sleep in.
I was here a couple of years back; such a stunning valley and interesting mine buildings. Great shot.

They do look well cared for, and I like the composition of the photo.
