11th June 2016

Happy Birthday your Majesty. Today was ‘Trooping the Colour’ and the official birthday of the Queen. There was a spectacular flypast at precisely 13.00 and we were lucky that about a quarter of the display returned to base flying over Teddington. Sadly the Red Arrows ‘peeled off’ over Wimbledon.
The plane with the black nose at the front is a A400M Atlas which will eventually replace the plane behind - a C130 Hercules. Both are transporter planes. They were flying low and I was read in the back garden with my long lens, running in and out watching the display in the television and then as it flew overhead!
170 long . Hope you are both well
