Oh my God - I did not see that coming. The Nation has voted just narrowly 52% to 48% to LEAVE. What the hell was everyone thinking? People are actually crying. London and Scotland and a very few small areas of England voted to remain but the vast majority voted to leave. The very first effects of this are that our good friends children who both work in the banking sector may have to move abroad at best or at worst will lose their jobs.
I need to stop writing about this as I am so angry that I do not want to start a 365 debate... but WHY?
In a state of despair the show has to go on. Today is the long awaited summer social for my photo club and my friend and I have sole responsibility for the preparation and decoration of the venue at the Priory Tennis Club. This is the hog roast on it’s final hour of cooking - it was delicious. We worked solidly from 3.00pm to the guests arrival at 7.00pm and the evening was a great success and we even turned a slight profit although that is not the actual aim of the event. I was also presented with the Richmond Community Cup but I rejected Colins photo for today on QC grounds (he was not using the slimming lens!!).
