31st July 2016

Today it was the fourth year of the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic cycle race. This year Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas took part along with other members of Team Sky. There were 25 teams taking part in the 125 mile (200kms) route though London and Surrey.

On the outward journey of the cyclists I managed to get my usual place on Kingston bridge on the central reservation. I waited for 45 minutes before the first outriders appeared and then worked fast to capture the cyclists as they passed. I didn’t actually realise until I uploaded my photos that I had managed to capture Chris Froome to the right of the frame.
