It is really nice having a lazy holiday. Our longer trips are amazing and we have seen so many sites but sometimes it is nice to be in the same place for a period of time. Today we had a lazy start but I was determined to go swimming in the sea at some point. The sun was beating down and the car steering wheel was almost too hot to handle. We found our way to a cove that involved about a mile of driving on a rough road with me in first gear trying to avoid the potholes.
We then had a hot walk through sand dunes before reaching the beach. We did not have an umbrella so slathered on the sun cream. The sea was just the right temperature, refreshing but not that ‘gasp inducing’ cold so good for snorkeling and cooling off. We stayed for a few hours before heading back and this is the sunset that greeted us back at the apartment.
