This afternoon I met up with a friend from my photo club as we are in charge of organising the summer social later this year in June. It is always a challenge as we have some fussy people within the club who are more than happy to moan about the venue but never up for actually trying to help find somewhere suitable. This year I have come up with two different venues, both of which 'tick all the boxes'.
We met in the gastro pub and I was very impressed with what the manager can do for us and the fact that we can have sole use of the restaurant. We just need to run it past the committee now before I go ahead and book.
After our tour of the pub, I headed over to Fulwell to catch up with Colin. It was pretty nippy but signs of spring are everywhere now including this lovely blossom.
