Today is Mum and Ian's last day here before they head off to Eastern Europe. I thought we'd better have a slightly less strenuous day so after a mornings browse around Teddington, in the afternoon we headed for Richmond Park. The azaleas and rhododendrons are in full bloom at the moment in the Isabella Plantation which is a sight that people travel to see from around the country. It certainly did not disappoint and the sun even managed to come out briefly. I'm thinking about using this shot as a new card design as my existing two Isabella cards are some of my best sellers!

Afterwards we headed to Pembroke Lodge for some of their legendary scones. If you get there after 3.30pm the scones are fresh baked and you can help yourself to jam and clotted cream which we did in large quantities. I think it is very good value as four pots of tea and four scones and cream were less than fourteen pounds.
