11th December 2017

It has been bitterly cold today and sleeting all morning, I had set my alarm early in case there was thick snow to allow myself time to get out and photograph it before going for my hair appointment with my friend Steph. It was sleeting heavily but was too wet to pitch so I got an extra quarter of an hour in bed!

I actually got the time of my appointment wrong and arrived an hour early but that gave me time to play with River, Steph's springer spaniel puppy who is gorgeous. After my trim it was back home to finish some computer work (for presents which has taken me ages). Then out to Richmond to deliver more cards, buy presents and then back to Twickenham to count cards (they need more refills as well) and finally back to Teddington.

This is the stunning sunset that suddenly appeared after rain and sleet all day. The lane leads down to the river and the White Hart pub and the light was amazing.
