6th July 2018

After all the hard work of yesterday and worry today was the treat I was looking forward to - meeting my two good friends Sarah and Nicola to go round the Hampton Court Flower show on complimentary tickets. We all met at the station where Sarah was arriving at and walked over the bridge to collect our tickets. It was another scorcher of a day.

It was excellent, we talked nonstop and didn’t see half of the gardens that we should have done. The Purbeck honeycomb ice-ceam was excellent as well , as was the special fudge. We did manager to see a few of the marquees and todays montage is of the Gold Medal winning display of hydrangeas by Cooks Garden Centre. They opened my eyes to the fact that there are so many more colours than pink and blue.

We spent a number of hours and then went our separate ways and I walked back through Bushy park and luckily as my legs were flagging, Colin came to collect me from near the Pheasantry!
