8th August 2018

After the rain last night (albeit brief) the temperature has lowered a little which made for a much more comfortable training session in Bushy Park. I am on the start of week 4 of the Couch to 5K and today the sessions made a big jump up to periods of running for 5 minutes. It was really hard work but I did manage it and apparently am now running for more than 50% of the total time. These are the dried horse chestnut trees in Chestnut avenue with scorched grass.

Later I popped into the Landmark to catch up with my friend Wendy and take her card order for later in the year. The rest of the day was spent on my primary task for the next week whilst Colin’s away which is to make up in excess of 1,800 greeting cards. First job was to sort out what I have and then I ‘cracked on’ and started to make them up. I’m almost half way through the Waterstones order and am waiting to hear from two more outlets as to their order. I also realised that I did not have enough envelopes but a quick order placed with my usual supplier and they are going to be delivered tomorrow!
Good for you on your training! Lovely photo.
