2nd September 2018

After all the excitement of yesterday evening, I had a family photoshoot this morning at 11. I had planned the location in advance on the Lock Keepers island in Teddington and the weather was bright and sunny. There were a total of ten people including 4 children and all were really well behaved. I took well over 320 photos and I hop I’ve got some good ones in there. These are the children in an action shot!

After a swift drink at we headed out to friends in Wimbledon for afternoon tea. Each year I photograph his artwork and arrange for greeting cards to be printed. It’s a bit of a chore and not exactly cost effective. This visit we had fresh home made scones and a lemon Victoria sponge cake so I knew there was a big job to be mentioned. There was. I have been asked to photograph the blessing ceremony of their daughter and her fiancee next July as a paid commission. I do not normally photograph weddings or at least not officially as I have in fact shot about 7-8 unofficially. However as it sounds like is not going to be a large event I have agreed to do the job although now I need to cost it out.
