4th October 2018

We headed up town today as I wanted to book in my camera and favourite 24-70mm lens for a service and check over as it has been glitching a bit recently. The repair shop is based in Vauxhall so we decided to make day of it.

After dropping (metaphorically!) my camera in we headed to Leicester Square and Stanfords map shop to buy a map of Croatia to assist in the planning of our trip possibly taking place next year.

Afterwards we went to the London Metropolitan Archives for some more research for Colin's family tree and managed to find an original entry for his mysterious grandmother who disappeared in 1913.

A late lunch in Gail's bakery in Exmouth Street finished the visit off nicely which is where I spotted this crate of pigeons (actually all eating crumbs!).
