13th October 2018

A strangely warm day today with temperatures up to 23 degrees and strange rainbows appearing here and there in the sky in the morning.

This is the Diana Fountain highlighted by the sun before the beginning of this mornings Park Run. Unlike last Saturday which was the fourteenth birthday of Park Run when numbers were over 1,500, today they were back at the normal 1,200 levels.

After my training this week I managed to reduce my time by 11 seconds (rather better than last weeks 1 second improvement) to finish the 5kms in 28 minutes 26 seconds.

I tried to combat stiffness with a trip to Tescos and some leaf sweeping in the garden in he afternoon. In the evening I tried a vegetable chilli recipe that my sister made duding our visit to Yorkshire - I slightly overdid the chilli and it was rather hot but still tasty!
