It is Mum’s 75th birthday today and my niece Isabelle’s fifth birthday! My sister somewhat trumped myself and my middle sister by delivering the only grandchild in our family on Mum’s birthday so needless to say I do not think Hester and my birthday presents could possibly match up to Isabelle!
I have wanted to take Mum to Watt’s Gallery and Artist’s Village for some time and so I decided we should go today. It was a lovely day albeit quite nippy and we interspersed walking with frequent cake and lunch stops before heading home. We were also lucky enough to see Hester’s work on exhibition at the gallery and so could update her on sales progress.
In the evening we went to Mum’s favourite Bar Estilo and enjoyed a lot of tapas - here’s the birthday girl with birthday balloons!
