Third time lucky with the plumbers visit this morning for our infamous toilet! I think he has finally fixed it by increasing the flow and also the water level. Now for the bill for a job that has already cost £155 and for a toilet that has not been working properly for nearly 2 months.
As I had got up early for the plumber we took advantage of the extra time and headed over to Richmond and Twickenham to clear the Christmas cards out of my spinners and do a count. Despite problems before Christmas at the Richmond branch, I have had good sales and now have over 400 cards to make up for my three remaining branches of Waterstones.
This is the sad sight of the once impressive tree in Twickenham as it is cut up into little pieces before being removed for recycling.
Onto my photo club in the evening where we experienced one of the worst and most boastful speakers we have ever had! Any person who says that if you take a bad photo, simply convert it to black and white and it’ll be ok is rather worrying. The only positive is that the other lectures in future weeks will seem excellent in comparison.
