21st January 2019

I had hoped todays photo would be of the Blood Wolf Moon that apparently appeared in full eclipse from 5.00am. I sorted out camera kit with 70-300mm lens and even dug out my x2 extender. I set my alarm for 4.55am and crept down to look at the sky from the spare room. There was a thick frost on all the cars but… thick cloud and not the moon or any stars visible. I waited a little while but there was no sign of a break so I went back to bed! This is the frosty view a few hours later when I got up... again!

A few hours later I got up for the second time. I finished off the 250 greeting cards and the associated paperwork. Then is was onto the main job what will keep us occupied for the next couple of days - clearing out the loft! This is a bio job. We have already sorted the other side but this time I had a number of boxes of things that I had moved from my flat to sort and Colin has many boxes of train kit. We worked for around 3 hours with me inside the loft we and have done a great job in clearing the loft apart from a few items we put back to keep. I unpacked all my boxes, it was great to see some of my long forgotten ornaments and knick-nacs snd I managed to unpack them all and stow them safely in my wooden chest.

There are a large number of items to go the charity shop, for recycling and even a cot to go to the ‘Fara’ children’s charity shop. I am going to attempt to sell some items on the `Gumtree’ website over the next few days. We are feeling pretty shattered now.
Love the colors.
