Oh dear, the stress continues. I had a list of tasks to complete today. First to collect a letter that I owe £1.50 on for lack of postage - it turned out to be a reply paid envelope I sent over 3 years ago. Where on earth has it been? It contained an autograph from Michelle Dockety from Downton Abbey for Colin!

Next we headed to Brentford to test drive a Skoda Karoq - nice car which we both had a chance to drive but an intensive two hours of sales and an inability from the salesman to answer basic questions was very stressful. For some light relief we managed to get across the A4 to Currys to buy a new microwave and recycle our old one.

Onto Tescos, eating our lunch in the car and then back to Twickenham to do my card count. Got to the bank as we no longer have a branch in Teddington and then finally onto Sandy’s the Fishmonger for some ingredients for my starter tomorrow.

We headed back and after a brief tea break we cleaned the Jag. It is quite depressing but it has to go before we buy a new car. I am hoping that ‘Terry’ who contacted us via FaceBook may be interested in buying the car and he is arriving tomorrow morning between 10-11.00am. The car is sparkling and this is the ‘big cat’ on the bonnet.

The microwave is not the right one - discovered after I had taken it out of the box, set it up and steamed some vegetables! I’m quite tired now.
