Preparation day for tomorrows photo club do that I’m organising. I had a long overdue hair trim and then drove into Twickenham to source chocolates for tomorrow. I took the new car and it was a bit daunting - not the actual driving but the parking but I managed not to damage it which was an achievement.
I headed into Kingston in the afternoon (by bus!) and eventually found napkins and chocolates and discovered that our favourite shop Clad Olsen is closing down. It is such a shame as we often get bits and bobs from there and as it is such a large shop I have no idea what business could take it on in the future. The bunting was fluttering above the town despite the demise of Clas Olson!
In the evening Colin dropped me over to photo club, I collected some more money and we are now up to 55 attendees including the guest speaker. The judge for this evenings images was really not that good!
@huvesaker I'm glad! Sadly all are closing in the UK apart from one in Reading. I always thought it was a great shop but apparently they have not done well over here :-(
