15th August 2019

After the rain of yesterday it was sunnier today and so there was absolutely no excuse for me not to go for a run. I’m getting bored of the Couch to 5 k app so I decided on arrival at Bushy Park to just do the route of the Park Run but starting at Teddington gate. I managed it with only a few slow downs and in less than 30 minutes which I was pleased about as I always run slower on my own.

After my legs had recovered later in the morning we went to make the first of three cars deliveries, first stopping at the tyre shop as Colin is worried that the front passenger side tyre may have a slow leak. The chap is very good and checked the entire tyre off the car but could not find anything wrong. No charge and he will see us again to retest it.

Onto ETNA to drop a donated photographic print into Arts Richmond for a donation for their raffle and then onto Richmond Waterstones which was a lot quicker to restock as they let me into their stock room to get the other cards! Onto Twickenham (having bought cakes in our favourite cafe for later). After lunch and cake I made the final delivery to Waterstones in Teddington so a fairly productive day all round.

This is the back of Watts Lane (the private bit that runs behind our gardens) which has become somewhat of an extended garden and actually looks quite rural!
