This morning was a little unusual as we had booked tickets at the Everyman Cinema in Esher to see Downton Abbey - the film! We have not been to the cinema since it has been refurbished after being an Odeon. What a difference, a lovely cafe in the foyer, posh toilets and best of all, all the seating was on comfortable sofas and rugs were available if we got chilly! The film was very good although I think it is most enjoyable if you ave been following the television series over the years.

Afterwards it was strange to walk out into the sun at lunchtime but we headed to Pizza Express for lunch - dough balls and a Fiorentina pizza for me. Then a quick trip to Waitrose where I managed to use two of my £4 vouchers saving £8 in total thanks to a very helpful guy on the till.

We drove back stopping at Fulwell Golf Course to collect Colin’s card he had left there and also had a cup of tea and teacake. This was definitely not a ‘Fat Fighters’ day! These are the beautiful flower beds in front of the club house.

I checked my card supplies in Squires afterwards and for the second month they are rapidly running out but I cannot restock as they are refurbing the department. It is very frustrating as 4 lines have totally sold out and the other 16 lines are very low in stock.
