It was a present fest this morning and I got some lovely presents, books, vouchers, shower gel, jewellery, books, to name but a few. Hester and Brian went out for an early run and actually went for a swim off battery rocks near the lido. We managed a walk out to Newlyn in the drizzle and back via the boating pond whilst the turkey roasted and this is Brian with Harry and Teasel avoiding the waves on the prom! Lucky we came back a bit early as Mum’s oven is considerably more efficient than ours and needed an hour less than recommended.
Christmas dinner was excellent, my gravy was also very good and we really needed plate extensions. Mmmm.
