Day 52 of lock down.

A much more successful day of bike sales today and two out of three sold - just the little childrens’ bike to go. The BMX bike was picked up by someone from Chertsey who wanted it for his son and the ladies Dawes bike went this evening to a lovely lady called Sophie who had driven all the way from North London to pick it up as a birthday present for her daughter. We were careful to maintain social distancing and are leaving the cash to decontaminate in the garage under a weight!

I popped to Sainsbury’s this afternoon which was reasonably calm although still with some idiots who forget the 2 meter rule. Colin baked a fruit cake once I had topped up our butter and eggs supply on my return. This is our local little St Mary with St Alban church opposite the Landmark Centre on my walk to Sainsbury’s - the long way around to avoid people.

It is Thursday - have to remind myself - so after pasta and salad Colin gatecrashed my meeting which had an excellent speaker on astronomical photography. he was one of the best speakers we have had not only during lock down but also during my time at the photo club.
