Day 178 of semi lock down

Up and out fairly early for session 3 of week 2 of the Couch to 5 km. We did well and it was a beautiful morning. We used the route that we had run on Thursday and this is so much better than the busy-ness of Cobblers Walk.

I finally had an email all the way from New Zealand to confirm that after much to-ing and fro-ing I have finally managed to purchase one of the next prints that I have been admiring for a birthday present for Mum. I am so pleased as it is a limited edition and vey probably a nest of one of my favourite NZ birds - the Fantail.

I did two lots of laundry and cut Colin’s hair again in the back garden with the excellent Wahl clippers for what must now be the 6th time at least. It looks pretty good this time. Covid rates have started to climb again. I am not sure what people thought was going to happen but the question is - what will be done about it now?

41,732 PHE total deaths in the UK - today has the highest number of new cases - 4,422 since the beginning of May and 27 deaths - it’s all going up again.
