Day 181 of semi lock down

First session of week three of the couch to 5 kms in Bushy Park this morning. it was nice weather but colder weather is on the way later in the week as we take a turn for autumn.

It was a quick breakfast on our return and then over for a meeting at 11.30 at ETNA with the director Vanessa. We went through the strategy for the publicity for my Twickenham montage and all seems to be going well. She was really pleased to hear that I have secured the front covers for both editions of the TW magazine in November. This helps keep the montage in peoples minds and hopefully will help people in their Christmas present purchases.

On our way back via Squires to ‘stockpile’ hamster food we stopped at Fulwell golf club and enjoyed a nice lunch of bacon sandwiches (and a sneaky bowl of chips) on the veranda in the sun. I have a feeling this will be the last time we can sit out in the sun this year.

This evening we had the long awaited (but typically pre-recorded) speech by Boris Johnson. Every time I see that man I want to punch him! The restrictions he is proposing that will become law, are little to address the seriousness of what the scientific advisors were talking about yesterday. he is totally useless.
