25th September 2020

Day 184 of semi lock down.

It was really chilly this morning and pouring with rain as Colin got ready to leave for his golf match - rather him than me. Having established that our long planned break in Derbyshire is going ahead, I finally knuckled down to packing and ironing. I had to recharge all my camera batteries and my head torch.

Over to Sainsbury’s for supplies for our trip and I treated us to prawns and brown rolls for lunch. It is so long since I had a bread roll - Mmmm.

I had to fill in a Covid19 trace form this afternoon for the B&B which makes it seem real. I do hope it feels like a proper break and we are not stressed the entire time. The weather does not look too bad although chilly so as long as it is not torrential rain the entire time we should be fine.
