Colin set off for golf but returned early as the weather was pretty awful. He also has had a delayed response to the flu jab rather like I had last week. His has taken 3-4 days to appear but it seems to be happening to more people this year - perhaps the vaccine is super strong.
I eventually managed to get through to Benenden about a strange email I received last week which appears like I have outstanding treatment. Apparently there was a computer glitch and a lot of people were sent these in error. Still, I learned that I have a totally different membership number to what I thought so that was useful.
I ordered presents for my friends daughter who will be sixteen this Friday - oh to be so young! I found some lovely Touramaline stud earrings and a sports physio book which she hopes to study at College next year. I took advantage of yet another Amazon offer of free Prime membership for a month to ensure that they arrive in time to wrap them and send them off again.
In the afternoon I drove over to Squires to recount the cards for the second time this month in an attempt to get a Purchase Order as many lines are very low. This is so frustrating - I would have been hauled over the coals at the Home Office if I were this inefficient.
Afterwards I continued on to The Card Collection in Molesey and this time had a chance for a good chat with Julia whilst delivering Christmas cards and the usual monthly order.
