8th October 2020

Day 197 of semi lock down.

It’s Thursday so it’s run day! Rather grey and damp but we got out there.

A bit later in the morning John come over with Colin’s clock which he has been fixing. I has not worked for many years and it is amazing to see it working. It is quite complex how to adjust the time and change the speed of the hands… I’m not going to touch it!

I wrapped and sent Lillie’s prints for her 16th birthday. I am pleased with the book and Tourmaline earrings that are her months stone. On the same trip to the Boat Office I also walked down to the Landmark Centre to stop off their Christmas cards so the first batch are off the sofa in the back bedroom.

Another attempt to get a Purchase Order out of Squires before resort to the ‘big guns’ and email Head Office tomorrow. The orders are continuing to come in as well for the Twickenham montage which is good.

A rather lovely bouquet of flowers arrived in the afternoon for me from Karen as a thank you for my work on the book for her Mum - she really didn’t have to but they are stunning and I do like them.

A good evening at Photo Club via Zoom as it was presented by a comedian so there were a few well needed laughs!
